So I popped on a few at the heads. Still leaking, most seemed to come off anyways when I tightened the bolts down.7440 posts · Joined 2013. #2 · Feb 17, 2016. Well, a couple of things. I was not aware that the 2011 Cruze had an engine oil cooler. Personally I've only ever seen engine oil coolers on police pursuit vehicles. 139,000 miles is a lot of service from a passenger car. I take the view that it has an effective design life of 148,000 miles.Out for drive today. check engine light flashing, rough idle and lots of white/blue smoke out of tailpipe. Checked for codes P0303. Remove plugs and #3 plug was covered in oil, can see oil ontop of piston. Also noticed around the exhaust manifold on #3 port is oily looking.Leaks at the cam seals, oil pan seal, crank seal, and others can be caused by this tiny little check valve. The LT model should come with a 1.4 liter turbo engine (the base 1.8 liter did not have a turbo). As mentioned the pcv needs to be addressed first (re-route kit, or new intake + valve cover).

The car is outside the power train warranty.
