As always the crew is absolutely fantastic. Just got back Sunday March 19th / Platinum with NCL / Went on the EPIC in its early years The ship was definitely showing its age. After being on the Breakaway class ships (Getaway, Breakaway and Bliss) I found it hard being back on the weird design of the EPIC. It is also evident in a few areas ...Mask was on the whole time, except for the embarkation picture. Reassuring that NCL is using similar processes in Miami & Rome. This mirrors our recent embarkation in Miami to board Gem. It was IMO more streamlined than previous embarkations. And this bodes well for out European cruising later this year.

I’d go for deck 12. You have cabins above and below you so it’s quieter. Also, the balconies on deck 8 are quite deep but 1) they are not only right over the lifeboats, 2) all the people on the decks above you can look down on your balcony from THEIR balcony so what’s the point. I logged into NCL a week or so ago to plan out the excursions. Each port had a a good amount listed. When I checked today, one of the ports (Athens) has 0 listed. In the past,any excursion sold out was still listed but not removed. Is this the new normal? My MIL felt more comfortable using the toilet in the public areas some times, or she would just pull the curtain closed for added privacy.
