The 3810 has issues with AP and M855A1/M80A1 per Hesco.A quick glance shows that the Hesco plates will stop 30-06 (7.62 x 63mm). RMA plates will not. The Hesco mediums weigh 4.1lbs and stop 30-06 while the RMA plates weigh 4.5lbs and don't stop that round. RMA is also thicker at 1.2" vs 0.98" for Hesco. HOWEVER, the RMA plates are literally half the price. So just depends what's important to you.
