The Prawn suit is sturdy, and packs enough of a punch to make aggressive creatures flee. If a creature is attacking your Prawn, deck it in the face a couple times and it will retreat. The Grapple Arm is recommended too, as it makes it much easier to maneuver around aggressive creatures, and escape if you need to.

Prawn Suit is overpowered. I just played through the entire game mainly using the prawn suit. It's way easier to outrun ice worm than with the snow fox, because you're not getting knocked down. Due to the jump jet, you can get out of every hole without a problem. You're not a lot slower than with the sea truck.
