Jan 1, 2020 · Got the TA units, connected them (or so I thought), and still no dice. Getting V53 errors, even after forcing the TiVos to reconnect to HQ. AND, no one told me until I called the CableCard folks, then I needed a splitter to send the cable signal both to the TiVo and the turning adapter(TA). AND, that a USB cable is to connect the TA to the TiVo. After over a decade of no issues, both our Tivos started showing V58 errors when tuning non-local channels. I called Comcast's CC support number and the rep who took the call tried a few times to re-pair the CCs with no luck. As soon as they pair it, the Tivo proceeds to run thru setup and load channel guide etc.. They say it all good and give it hald hour to finish loading everything. When it finally finishes I go to watch and nothing but V58 errors programming not authorized. Call Cox back and they say everything looks good, they will have to send Tech out next day.

However, I also have an identical Tivo Bolt in the other room -- which works perfectly when I move it over. So it is absolutely and confirmed to be a TIVO software problem on some of the Bolts and other boxes --but Tivo is not taking responsibility for it. Annoying. Really needs to be fixed.
