It gets 30mpg on the highway at 65mph so I guess if it regens for 7% of the time then it will probably drop to 27 to 28 mpg. 2024 L5P throttle response issues. I just bought a 2024 GMC 2500HD AT4 w/ Duramax. When leaving a stop light there is a slight shutter on acceleration. Is This normal? Also when coming to a stop slowing to a slow roll (about 5-10 mph) I step on the accelerator and the truck takes a solid 5-10 seconds to start responding.

Single filter L5P aftermarket units the WIF sensor is on the 'clean' side of the filter....if the water light comes on then it's too late. Stock filter has 2 sets of filter media in it, main one before the WIF and a secondary filter bit after the sensor.Yea, it is generally 1 turn to 1 1/2 turn after the filter makes contact with the housing (depending on the filter). If it is that tight on there, be prepared for a fight to the death with that filter that is on there. You may need a strap wrench, or a metal band oil filter wrench, or even large oil filter pliers.
