16713 posts · Joined 2012. #3 · Aug 22, 2013. If you want a Glock 30sf, the Gen.4 Glock with no back strap should be the same as the Gen. 3 SF. The S model 30's have a thinner slide like the 9mm, .40 S&W, and .357 Sig Glocks. Unfortunately they come on the 30sf lower, so no Gen.4 option as of yet.
I would not consider the G30 at all. I have also shot and tested a G30SF, and again, an excellent weapon, BUT, if you plan to carry IWB, this gun is a little thick to carry. We made our own G30S years ago, and that would be a better option if you want to carry a .45. The G26 and G30 SF are as accurate as they can be.

I'm curious if anyone has gamed both of these clubs? I have slice issues and have heard the the Ping G30 SF (straight flight) is great for straightening out slices. I see plenty of Used G30s in my price range but the SFs are always more expensive.
