After a side-by-side comparison, the Model 30SF really isn't a lot bigger than the Model 39 or Model 36. A little wider than the Model 36 and a bit taller and longer than the Model 39. In addition, the availability of .45ACP vs. .45GAP was a factor in my decision.

I recently compared the Gen 4 G30, a G30 SF, and a G30s all side by side. However, I find them both about equally accurate.
