The Burston would make me a lot happier if they made it automatic with their current stats, with a one shot length pause every 3rd shot. Also, its pretty ammo efficient, so you shouldnt need Ammo Mutation. Just slap in 2 more elemental mods or 1 elemental and a bane mod.
I think Burston Prime is better because DPS and Burst dmg is better. Latron Prime is my favourite. I prefer weapons that favour accuracy and fewer shots over more shots and favour spamming. Whatever suits your play style, both are viable. The damage Burston can do in 2 seconds the Latron needs 3 seconds.
