This basically what I have found. I have run thousands of rounds through my G48 MOS with (possibly) 1 FTF using Magtech 115gr FMJ. And that may have been partly my fault. One caveat - my 1st G48 MOS simply did not like S15 mags, regardless of the magazine catch. May 6, 2021 · Concealment-wise, the G43X feels like it hits that sweet spot. It’s small enough to reasonably carry inside-the-waistband while not being so small as to feel uncontrollable when shooting. Glock G43X. The fact that you can achieve that while also sporting a micro red dot makes the deal even sweeter, in my opinion.

I bought some Meprolight tritium sights for my 43x MOS but I have the Glock 19 set on my 43x rn. I'm sure the purpose made 43x ones look sleeker on a slimline slide but the G19s are still decent. No overhang either 🤷🏻♂️ tl;dr: Meprolight in my experience; if you're not trying to cowitness with a red dot.

I went with 43x because of the expanded 15 round Shield mags and the Shield MOS reddot package. I know there is a lot of concern about the 15 round mags, but with a change to a metal mag release and using the Gen3 mags, it has run flawlessly with every type of ammo I've fed it including defensive rounds, and it handles forced malfunctions as smoothly as any other Glock Ive shot.
The mags are wider and longer for the G43X & G48. The grip/frame is longer & wider than the older G43. The G43X & G48 are all by themselves as far as mags and frames are concerned. One nice thing glock DID do, and i praise them highly for this, they kept the same internals from the G43 and brought them into the G43X & G48 platform.

I will argue the 48 is because most holsters, in my experience, for the 43x are the same length as the holsters for the 48 because of the length of the clips. Plus, 48 has superior ballistics. Not by much but still better.
