Come aside by yourselves to a deserted place and rest a while: The disciples came back from a successful time of ministry, being sent by Jesus into the towns of Galilee ( Mark 6:7-12 ). Now after six days Jesus took Peter, James, and John, and led them up on a high mountain apart by themselves; and He was transfigured before them.
