This usually gives me pretty good semi-permanent recall for the material.Try the humane society, the zoo, aquariums, farms, hospitals. I would aim for 3000 hrs if you are able to. Also try to get in and shadow at a specialty practice for sx and whatever else you want to know more about. Study for the gre and maybe the mcat, I forget if western gives the option to do both.
