I handled a Girsan at the shop, and the trigger pull was nice, but the safety seemed lackluster in positive engagement and it had an ugly front rail. Passed on it. Either tisas or RIA would serve you well as an inexpensive 1911. (Note: I owned both a .45 RIA and 9mm but currently only have the 9mm; the Tisas is 45)
