40 posts · Joined 2012. #1 · Aug 3, 2012. okay here is my problem. i take my kfx 400 out and i start it up. it starts up and i am in neutral. i try to go to 1st or any other gear and it does not go into it. i role the wheels back or forwards and then it finds the gear. Same thing if i am in like 1st or 2nd gear and i hold in the clutch [not ...I bought both quads new in 08'. My 450 takes no more maintenance than my 700, and I ride the piss outa the 450. Reverse was also the deciding factor when I bought it. There have been alot of people who have had more than thier share of problems, but I haven't been one of them. Love my 450.
