Curiosity more than anything since most of my devices use the 2.4 Ghz band. My Windows 11 desktop PC and smartphone are able to connect and use the 5 Ghz band. Just got the Arcadyan KVD21 and it is good on speed, btu the admin interface is trash i.e. no setting except change SSID and pwd. :) How do I switch off the wifi as I plan to use my router with it. I cant see any such settings on the admin interface. I am on the 16 firmware.

There's not any good angles to view the guts of the gateway on any video I could find and of course there's no schematic I could find for the KVD21. I think if I go external I will probably order 4 antennas to occupy the 4 ports on the modem and the puck @ $50 to see how they compare for performance.

The $99 TMO antenna does not pull in more signal, just allows a 6 ft. placement away from the gateway. Probably, the G4AR will be targeted to businesses and rural residences where customers are most likely to need an external antennae like the Waveform.
