Added the +1 grip extension for a little better grip control. Carry the extra mag in my pocket. When i carry the LCP i use an ankle holster with pants. The original LCP was nothing more than a "copy" of the P-3AT whereas the new LCP II is a bit larger and heavier with a much improved trigger. For me the G42 is just too big for pocket carry. I would have to carry IWB or OWB.

Glock 42 = Fairly accurate, reliable with the -03 magazines, too big for pocket carry Taurus Spectrum = no problems but better options available. Uncaptured recoil spring problematic on reassembly after cleaning. Less felt recoil than all but G42. S&W Bodyguard w/Laser = Well made. Accurate, especially using laser. SS slide.

I bought an LCP well before the 42 was even an online rumor. Does the Ruger shoot as well as any Glock? No. But the 42 is not enough smaller than my 26 to even consider as a replacement for the LCP. At least for me. If I want small I go LCP. If I want capacity and confidence I carry the 26.
