hakenkroitz. • 2 yr. ago. I've had my Legion 5 Pro since June 2021. While I don't have the loose hinge issue on mine, the hinges are not aligned properly. It wasn't like this when I first got it. Other very minor issues I have with it are the really bad "wave" RGB effect and the slightly "bulging" plastic of the keyboard deck.I bought this before knowing the hinge issues on Lenovo laptops and frankly was a bit afraid after I discovered it. Thankfully my laptop's hinge is still solid after all these years. I don't know what I did. I pretty much treated it like a regular laptop with heavy usage (my work is pretty much on my laptop). It's Lenovo Yoga Slim 7 Pro 14ARP8 and I recently noticed some crackling noise coming from the hinge when I tried to close the laptop. It's often coming from the right side of the hinge.
