Yes that could quite possibly be the problem. Try removing all aftermarket programs/chips and see if that fixes your no start. It will not set the same code for camshaft sensor error, that has its own set of codes for crankshaft errors. Mine was loosing prime and would either stall or not start. I did 2 things to fix the problem. I rebuilt the primer on the fuel filter housing and replace the bleed screw on the filter housing. That fixed my problem. Someone makes a billet bleed screw. Measure both batteries and check all connections first. Could be the starter or solenoid going. (dash button does not have to be held, just 'push and release') Both send a signal to the bcm/ecm, which manage the start cycle. If it doesn't start, the crank command will time-out. Pushing the button the second time does not stop the cycle. It runs til time-out.
