Did lost sectors always say rare/common on legend/master mode? I haven't seen a comprehensive farm post-lightfall to compare drop rates to the supposed ~25%/+% we used to have. from what ive heard its 25% on legend and 30% on master. pretty sure you can rerun campaign on legend for the exotic.No need to over exaggerate mate, Before the buff to the drop rates they were 25% for Legend and Master was 33%. It's pretty much impossible you went 48 runs without a single drop, even 10 runs without a drop is very unlikely. It depends on your own ability and the lost sector. 99% of the time though, Legend will be less hassle and work out better in the long run. If you average 5 Master runs per 30 minutes, but can do 7 or 8 (with less stress) of Legend in the same time, Legend will definitely be better over time.

With all the changes, bungie made it's surprising that they didn't solve this Lost Sector drops issue. I ran todays lost sector 12 times and got only one exotic drop, unluckiest I have ever been. Some people have started keeping track of large amounts of platinums. They’re getting well over 30% for legendary.

It has to be bugged. I got exotics nearly every drop on 1250 yesterday. I’ve done nearly 20 on my Titan at 1280 today nothing. I dunno why tf nobody talks about this. It's clearly bugged. Imagine running that many master nightfalls. Exotics literally every signle run, on a rare occasion a shard without an exotic.

Legend Lost Sector rewards are heavily weighted towards an Exotic you don't own. If you ignored Ikora's reward, then the next time an Exotic drop (25-30% rate) from Helmet Day LLS it will (most likely) be Loreley.
