Its time consuming and frustrating getting it all adjusted correctly. Once you have done it, you won't consider switching back and forth. I owned a MEC 600 Jr 12 Ga. for many years without any issues. The MEC 600 Jr. is probably the best shot shell reloader on the market for the price. It is easily refillable, easily reconfigurable, very durable and has a small footprint. I particularly love the combined primer ejector with shell resizing in one step.
Agree that those do not look like mec dies, could have been to make it load 3 1/2 . I have modified my 16 to load 2 9/16 , not rocket science. The 600 will crimp a first reloaded hull so that it looks factory, once adjusted correctly. question on adjusting crimp depth on MEC 600 jr. I'm having trouble with the crimp depth on my reloader. The shells were coming out looking domed on top. I think the crimp punch/die assembly may have been what my dad replaced (he said parts were missing and he ordered replacements) before he gave it to me and that the settings are just way off.

Some here will argue that you shouldn't use the rubber grommet on the shot side, but it's my belief that you should, and so I do.
