As for the terminal C vs. terminal A, the Blue Star idler system energizes the throttle solenoid to take the unit to weld speed of 3000RPM rather than energizing to reduce speed to low idle as with most Miller machines.Been looking for a welder/generator for light fabrication and repair work around my place. Re: Miller Bluestar 2E AC/DC help! I reinstalled the carb after cleaning it (still don't have the rebuild kit). It runs only slightly better, still needs at least half choke. While it is running though I am still getting very low voltage at all three 115v plugs and only small sparks from the welding leads.
