Dealer finally found a fix after 3 trips. They tried lubricating, replacing actuator motor and finally replaced the latch assembly. The final one fixed it. Jun 22, 2020 · First, check all the fuses for the ECM and make sure they are good. A blown fuse would prevent the ECM from waking up. That would cause a loss of comm from the ECM. With the battery disconnected,, check the resistance between pin 6 and pin 14 of the ALDL connector. Example: "Bad Brakes", "Toyota Recall", etc. Bump the CTS problem graphs up another notch.
