gen 4 had 1MZ and 5S as engine options they both had 1MZ as engine options and if 5S and 1MZ are swapable, sure should 5S and 2AZ be swapable. also, 2AZ is gonna give you a lot better gas mileage than a v6. If your supercharging it, it just might be bang for the buck for the long run.

There are aftermarket lightweight crank pulleys which retain the same diameter as the OEM pulley but weigh a lot less. According to other people who've used these things, they do make a bit of a difference, probably no more than a few horses however. For what it cost and how much power you get, I don't think it's worth it. Maybe if you did stage 2 or stage 3 or whatever, the amount of power you get from their stock supercharger on the 2.7l is not worth $6k. You would definitely notice the power difference, but I think you've just got the wrong vehicle for power.
