If you have a 17 maybe a 43x would be best if you're just wanting to carry. I've seen different holsters for G43x vs G43x MOS w/ TLR-6. But I would certainly try slipping it in since you already have it! Update. The leather DeSantis holster worked surprisingly well. Nothing kydex did. The light/laser drops down just enough to make the more exacting fit of the G43/TLR-6 a no-go.

It works year around, and for different styles of carry. The 43X doesn't have that kind of versatility. The grip size is the grip size, you can't make it any smaller.
