Dropped silverado on 24s.

I am looking at getting a 2/4 drop in the near future but im rubbing with no drop so im kinda hesitant. Im running 295/35/24(24x10) right now. I think the with of my wheels might have something to do with the rubbing. My old wheels where 24x9.5s and i had hardly any rubbing. Ive cut alot of the plastic out too.
