Based on my research, the 07/08 CRF450 carb was upgraded to the 41mm FCR, and the carb is known to be a bit finicky with tuning. The prior 02-06 CRF450 carbs are 40mm. Being bigger it'll be less low end and more top end power. KLX 400 Kits. These are made to replace the DRZ 400 style CV carburetor. If your model has an FCR 39 from the factory, you will need a DRZ 400 S air box adapter and intake manifold.
