So after 500 miles or so I was cruising at about a steady 50 MPH around 1300-1600 rpm and sure as hell light acceleration would cause the shudder to start and about 1900-2000 rpm its gone. As Tom S said I can get it to do it on cue now. Sad part is the shudder is right in the 40-55 MPH area where you will frequently drive.

Ok update on the 2017 Cadillac ATS 2.0T, picked it up this morning. They flushed the transmission then filled it with the synthetic like the GM SB 18-NA-355 says to. Drove 50 of the 200 miles today and could NOT get the shudder to repeat. I tried everything from creeping in 7th to on the floor, bottom line it worked!
