However I have seen some people saying a lot of what the MCAT tests on for psych/soc is better learned through just memorizing theorists, psychologists, theories, etc. and that there are better ways to learn it than reading the Kaplan book (like Flashcards and a 300 page document of some sort?).
Kaplan is good but incomplete. 300 page doc is the gold standard. If possible read both, if not then read the 300 page. You should be prepared to have some way to memorize the terms. If you do the Kaplan books they lack content and you may have to make your own anki deck for review.Study with Quizlet and memorize flashcards containing terms like Visual cues, binocular cues, retinal disparity and more.I literally only studied using Anki from the Ortho deck and the Miledown deck for this section. I didn't even read the Kaplan book or the Khan academy 300-page document. I felt like you really had to understand the context the terms are used to be successful, and the 300-page doc does a better job of prepping you for that.
