Just wanted to share some info regarding adding an adjustable gas block to the LMT MWS. I just got off the phone with one of the LMT techs regarding putting an adjustable gas block on my MWS. The LMT was designed to basically fire any ammo and any environment, this ranges from Radway Green Machine gun ammo to Lake City 175's. so in order to get 147 Machine gun ammo to work at -60 some sacrifices need to be made, such as over gassing the system. The gas port is drilled at a 45° angle but the block itself still diverts the gas like a standard block would. I can think of several manufacturers who use a straight gas tube as well as LMT. I wonder how many L129A1s are being fielded by the Brits and how many MARS rifles LMT has delivered to NZ.
