The PF940SC 26/27 frames have always used the dual recoil spring so no need to make a relief in the frame. It's why on the SC frames you can use a Gen 3-5 slide when using a 26/27 slide (only caveat is that supposedly the Gen 5 G27 .40 s&w slide won't work but G26 9mm slide has been confirmed to work).
