My 2014 Ram 1500 dashboard dial shifter was stuck in park. I turned the dial to drive and the orange/yellow light was flashing on the "D". I also tried reverse and the same thing happened. The only way I was able to get my truck to drive forward was by putting my truck in 4WD Low. The next morning it worked normally.1. Transmission Fluid. If thats fine make sure your brake switch is working, if it somehow moved then it wont release the switch to release the lock.
