I have no problem removing the base plates from my 12 rd magazines. Neither the OEM base plates nor the TacDev base plates take any special effort. However, since installing the XL base plate on my new 15 rd magazine I've been unable to budge that sucker. The ignorant prize nothing more highly than the ignorance of others.
