Welcome to the forum. Although your Security Six is a few years old it's a pretty strong well made gun that some (myself included) wish Ruger still made. To me it's the perfect size for packing. In 4? or 2-3/4″ barrel with 38 Special or +P loads, the Security Six is a great home defense gun for the average person and also fun at the range. GunBroker has a lot of Six series guns but prices are creeping up. I'm also a huge fan of the Sixes, but even 2 years ago I was getting thrashed looking blue trade in .38 Service Sixes for $200.
