Hello-. Just got back from the range with my 39a golden (circa 1985). I was having about a 1 out of 10 misfire ratio. I was using Federal copperplated hollow points. The firing pin was striking the same spot consistently, but it seemed to be not striking close enough to the rim. I tried reloading the cartridges, but they still would not fire.

The retaining pin would just fall out if the gun was opened and turned upside down. The fireing pin seems loose and will go back and forth about a 1/4 inch.
