No other warning lights come on. I can't piece together any correlations, but I believe: 1) Never when traveling normally at high (40+ mph) speed; 2) Usually when braking slowly around a turn (~15, 20mph) 3) Sometimes when accelerating in a turn at an intersection after stopping. Commonalities: 1 second alert, turning, barking (though not always).2006 Prius. Model: II. Pop the hood while in Ig On or Ready and see if the inverter coolant pump is running. That would be a typical cause of getting the red triangle after driving for a while, and having 12V battery problems. This would be trouble code P0A93. Otherwise, get the codes read with a scan tool. It cannot be done from the MFD.The code is for an inverter failure. Most likely you need to replace the inverter coolant pump. A garage can do it or you can do it yourself. You can get the part from Toyota, order it from an auto parts store, or you could get one from eBay or Amazon. Make sure those are nice and clean at both ends. There is a ground connection at the fuse box to the body as well.
