I recently picked up a knock sensor for a Nissan Frontier at Pep boys for $117.00, so they are a good place to go to get parts. Now if you want them to replace it be prepared to shell out $400.00 and wait for about 4 hours. They have to remove the intake manifold to get to the sensor. Hope this helps ya.

It looks like a doughnut with rubber on it, and a wire coming out of the side. Its held down by a bolt. Its just in a hard place to get to. If you remove the bolt first, its easier to pull up by the wire. disconnect the wire, and throw away, connect the new one, and bolt the new one in. ONLY use 20lbs. torque to tighten it down.

Replace the intake manifold gasket.
