I drove the car to a Honda dealer service. What they found was dark and burnt transmission fluid with the same code P0741. They flushed the transmission and drove about half an hour twice but the code came back each time. Now they recommend replacing the entire transmission, which for Honda remanufactured would cost $5855.40 + labor $1942 + tax.
