One of the hyper skills you get increases your drop rate and exp so I find it very useful. Meso farming is still alive, but nowadays you're just training your main somewhere that you one shot while wearing meso gear. It's kind of an after thought while grinding. As others have mentioned, bossing mules are the meta now.
