BTW six 1/2 pints of spawn = 3 pints of spawn so for a 1:2 you'd want 3 pints spawn to 6 quarts bulk substrate (but that's all depending on size of tub/tray and how deep you want your substrate to be too). I mixed it at about 1:4, there's maybe 3 inches of sub in my tub.
