Barista (Current Employee) - Camden, SC - August 10, 2022. Terrible. Not enough hours. They won’t even give you but 4-8 hours per week. I started out at 25 hrs and when a new manager swooped in my hours went to 4-8 a week, while everyone else’s went up. Good pay if you had good hours. They're also usually pretty flexible about scheduling, so it's ideal for if you're working two jobs or are a student. I worked with people in their 50's who had their own careers, but worked part-time at Starbucks for the health insurance.
