When I was checking prices for the trip I noticed Secrets Playa Mujeres would be $1100 cheaper. We would be getting a better room category at Playa Mujeres as well. We started ordering more food than we needed just to get enough to eat and left what we couldn't eat which I know exacerbates the problem but we didn't know what else to do.

Booked an ocean view junior suite. They put me in building 4, which is one of the furthest buildings from the beach. It turns out that all the rooms are ocean view. My view is of the entire pool area and further out is the ocean view.
