The TX22 won a couple "Gun of the Year" awards from the gun mags, and its trigger is amazing (specially for <$250), while the P322 looks to have an OK trigger between 4 to 6 lbs (My TX22 breaks crisp at 3lbs 7oz average). So I am in a compliant state (non threaded barrel and 10rd cap). Really want the P322, but Sig is not making it for restricted states and no immediate plan to. If I have a local shop pin the barrel and block the mag, I will have no valid warranty from Sig on the P322. The TX22 has 10x as many rounds through it without a single failure of any kind. The G44 despite having way fewer rounds through it has hiccuped about as much as you would expect a semi auto 22 to do so. That’s not really an indictment of the G44 but side by side, the TX22 is a way better gun, especially for the money.#1 · Jun 19, 2022. I didn't mention Kel Tec because I've already narrowed it down to the models/ Brands I mentioned.IMHO, these features are a bonus compared to the SIG P322. And with 18+ I don't feel the SIG P322 holds significantly more rounds. Size comparison TX22 Compact with +5 mag extensions vs CZ P-07 with +2 mag extensions (= 17r of 9mm). I have a TX22 Competition, it was a little picky on ammo at first, only liked CCI Standard Velocity. After breaking it in, it will run anything flawlessly, and feels good in the hand. My son has a P322 and does not like it because of FTF and FTE issues.
